How long will my order take

We aim to dispatch all stock orders received by 1pm the same working day*.  The exception to this is an order containing custom/personalised items as these items are custom made to your individual requirements the order will take longer to prepare and dispatch (see below).

Once dispatched DPD have a 99% next day delivery success rate.  This rate may drop around exceptional events e.g. Christmas, weather events. 

*Orders containing personalised items or custom products:

Orders containing personalised items or custom products take a little longer as they are made to your individual requirements.  Allow an additional 4-5 work days for our custom banners, tassels and confetti and up to 10 work days for personalised ribbon.

Please write the event date in the comments section at the checkout especially if your order contains personalised products. 

For holiday closures or day closures a notice will be placed on the top of the website. 

How much is shipping?

Shipping is charged at a fixed price for each order regardless of the number of items bought.

Orders under €39: €4.99 with DPD couriers.

Orders over €39:  free with DPD couriers.

Once dispatched 99% of orders are delivered next working day.

Parcels are tracked and you will be required to sign for your delivery.

We will ship to the delivery address given and in most cases we recommend that this is a business address or home address.

We CANNOT deliver to P.O. Box addresses.

Please ensure you use a shipping address where someone will be available to sign for the delivery. You cannot request a delivery time or a delivery slot ( for example you cannot request a delivery take place only in the morning, only in the afternoon, or after 3). The courier takes a set route every day and is in your area at the same time each day.

For security reasons you cannot request the courier deliver to a different address. You must contact us to arrange the redirect. Please note if the new address is handled by a different depot (there may be more than one depot in a county) then a new delivery charge of €4.99 will apply.

Once we have packed your order and it is ready to be collected by the courier you will be sent an ‘Order Completed’ email.

Delivery will be Monday-Friday (general hours are 8am to 5.30pm) , the courier will not deliver on Saturdays or bank holidays.

For missed courier deliveries, you will be left a card informing you of an attempted delivery or the courier may try to contact you by phone . You will need to arrange a collection from their depot, although the courier may also at their discretion re-deliver free of charge. You can always collect your goods from the couriers depot following a missed delivery free of charge, don’t forget to take the couriers note with you and some photographic form of ID though, or they won’t be able to release your package.

If goods are returned to the PartyParlour.ie because of an incorrect, incomplete address or after 3 failed attempts to deliver, or no response to couriers contact attempts, the carriage is not refundable.

If we have to re-route a delivery due to an incorrect or incomplete address or if you wish to change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched, there will be a re-delivery charge of €4.99 even if you received free delivery.

Where do you ship to?

We only ship throughout Ireland including Inc. Northern Ireland (allow 1-2 working days from dispatch).

I live in Waterford, can I collect my order?

As we operate from a warehouse and not a shop we do not operate ‘traditional’ shop hours/days.  However if you have the flexibility to collect the order you are welcome to do so.  Collection is Monday-Friday (usually mornings or early afternoon), our warehouse is located at Unit 19 Tramore Road Business Park, Tramore Road, Waterford.  (Tramore Road Business Park is across from Smyths Toys and next to Mum & Me, our warehouse is just down for Sienna Furniture.)

If you would like to collect your order from our warehouse, select Waterford from the billing/shipping county drop down box at the checkout, (even if your card details are different). Our on-line store will recognise that you selected Waterford and will give you the option to collect your order. 

Your order will be processed as normal but if you are in hurry do give us a ring so we can try prepare your order as quickly as possible.

Once your order has been completed we will send you an email. Please contact us prior to visiting us to arrange a day and time for your collection.

Already ordered, made a mistake or forgotten something

If you have forgotten something or need to change any products you have ordered we are happy to help as long as your order has not been shipped. Once your order has been collected by our courier its to late.

I need my order tomorrow/urgent order, can you do next day delivery?

We process orders in order of receipt so if you are in a hurry please contact us and we will  always try to help.  We used DPD Couriers next working day shipping service but please note, we can never tell you that we guarantee next day delivery!

Provided there is time we are happy to pack your order up ready for our courier to collect that afternoon (we don’t charge extra for this, we are simply happy to help).

99% of orders are delivered by the next working day but there is always that 1% that is why we cannot guarantee next day delivery. In fact no shipping service can absolutely 100% guarantee that you will receive your order next day.

We do ask that once you place your order you contact us straight away as we may be busy packing other orders and might not see your order come in.   

Please note during poor weather and busy periods (e.g. Christmas period) a courier companies next day success rate will reduce. 

What exactly happens after ordering?

You will receive an ‘order email’. 

Orders are usually processed in order of receipt, if your order is urgent please make sure you let us know, either contact us after the order is placed or include the event date in the comments box at the checkout. 

Once we have packed and processed your order you will be sent a dispatch email containing tracking information and a pdf invoice attachment. We will also include a printout of the invoice with the order.

Do I receive an invoice for my order?

Yes.  We will enclose a VAT invoice with your delivery. We will also attach a pdf version of this invoice to the dispatch email.

Do you have a shop

As we are an online webshop only we do not operate a ‘traditional’ shop or ‘traditional’ shop hours. If you would like to visit our warehouse we strongly recommend you make an appointment but if you are passing our doors and they are open you are welcome to come in. For an appointment Tel: 051 373499.  Appointments are usually available weekdays morning from 10 until 1, we do not open weekends or bank holidays 

We have a sale section and lots of products on display.  Not all products are out on display so our website is a good start. We accept credit & debit cards in our warehouse. 

If you want to reserve and collect and order, this can be done via our website. No matter what your address is make sure you select ‘Waterford’ from the list of counties. The website will recognise that the Waterford location is selected and offer collection as an option. We strongly recommend you do this instead of visiting us later as the items you want may be sold between you looking at them and visiting.

How secure is shopping in the Online Shop? Is my data protected?

If you look at the top of the page you will see a padlock, this confirms that the site is secure.

We do not sell your information and only relevant information is passed onto 3rd parties that we use to process your order such as the courier or payment processor. Our Privacy Policy can be found here.

Im ordering a lot can I get a discount?

The following discounts are available:

  • Free shipping on all orders over €39 throughout Ireland.
  • If your order total is over €100 there is a 5% bulk order discount, this is automatically applied at the checkout.
  • If your order total is over €200 there is a 10% bulk order discount, this is automatically applied at the checkout.

There are so many wonderful charities and organisations that reach out to us for support and sponsorship. Of course we would love to help them all but we are a small business and that’s just not possible.  We have therefore taken the decision to support local Waterford charities that our family is directly connected to.

On very rare occasion we offer discount codes that can be used for a period of time.We keep them very secret and the only way to find out about any code is to follow us on social media and sign up to our newsletter.
